Lipobase cream is an emollient cream that restores the physiological balance of the skin and making it soft and supple again. It is an oil-in-water emulsion with a high percentage of lipids (70% oil and 30% water).
Its original formulation gives the cream:
- Physiological properties – Hydrating and emollient: Lipobase cream enhances hydrating of the epidermis, reduces dryness and scaling and protects the skin from harm. Lipobase cream is well-tolerated, contains no perfume and its composition is formulated so as to reduce the risk of allergy to a minimum. Lipobase cream is not comedogenic and may be applied to the face.
- Cosmetic properties – Lipobase cream is pleasant to use: easy to apply, may be washed off with water and does not stain your clothing.
Lipobase cream may be used as an emollient cream for the care and protection of dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin; rub gently a thin layer of Lipobase cream into the skin surface which is to be treated.
Lipobase is a supplement to the treatment of certain dermatological disorders.
Composition
White soft paraffin, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, cetomacrogol 1000, citric acid, sodium citrate, methyl hydroxybenzoate, and purified water.
