Description

S-26 Gold PDF is a specialised, nutrient-enriched infant formula developed for premature and low-birth-weight babies following discharge from hospital.

The cow’s milk-based formula provides additional calories and protein, together with increased levels of selected vitamins and minerals compared with standard term-infant formulas. It is designed to help meet the higher nutritional requirements of premature infants and support medically supervised catch-up growth.

S-26 Gold PDF contains AA, DHA, iron, calcium, phosphorus, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, taurine, nucleotides and L-carnitine. Its nutritional composition supports normal growth, brain and visual development, bone mineralisation and red blood cell formation.

The formula also contains medium-chain triglycerides and a carefully balanced fat blend to support the absorption and utilisation of dietary fat.

S-26 Gold PDF must be used only under the supervision of a neonatologist, paediatrician or qualified healthcare professional.

Important Feeding Notice

Breast milk is the preferred source of nutrition for premature infants whenever available and medically appropriate.

S-26 Gold PDF is a formula for special medical purposes and must be used only under medical supervision.

The neonatologist, paediatrician or dietitian should determine the correct feeding volume, concentration, frequency and duration according to the baby’s weight, corrected age, growth progress and medical condition.

Once the baby reaches the appropriate weight or growth target, consult the healthcare professional before changing to a standard infant formula.

Do not change the preparation ratio, discontinue the formula or switch products without medical advice.

How to Prepare

Always follow the feeding table and instructions printed on the supplied tin together with the baby’s individual medical feeding plan.

The standard label preparation is one level 5g scoop of powder for every 30ml of water, unless a different concentration has been prescribed by the baby’s healthcare professional.

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the preparation surface.
  2. Wash the feeding bottle, teat, cap and all preparation utensils until no milk residue remains.
  3. Rinse the equipment thoroughly and sterilise it according to the instructions printed on the product packaging.
  4. Keep the sterilised equipment covered until required.
  5. Boil fresh drinking water and allow it to cool to the temperature specified on the tin.
  6. Pour the exact prescribed amount of water into the sterilised feeding bottle.
  7. Use only the scoop supplied inside the tin.
  8. Fill the scoop with powder and level it without pressing or packing the powder.
  9. Add the exact number of level scoops prescribed by the healthcare professional or shown in the feeding table.
  10. Close the bottle and shake thoroughly until the powder has completely dissolved.
  11. Check the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding.
  12. Feed immediately after preparation.

Prepare only one bottle at a time.

Never add extra powder, water, cereal, sugar, thickeners or other ingredients unless specifically instructed by the baby’s healthcare professional. Incorrect preparation may affect the formula’s nutritional concentration and may make the baby seriously unwell.

Feeding and Storage Instructions

Prepare every feed immediately before it is required.

Discard any formula remaining in the bottle within one hour after feeding begins.

Never refrigerate or reuse formula that has been in contact with the baby’s mouth.

Do not heat prepared formula in a microwave, as uneven heating may create hot spots and cause burns.

Close the tin tightly after every use and store it in a cool, dry place below 25°C.

Do not refrigerate the powder.

Use the contents within the period printed on the supplied tin after opening. Some packs state three weeks, while other regional packs may carry different instructions.

Allergen Information

Contains cow’s milk, lactose, soy and corn ingredients.

This formula is not suitable for infants with:

  • Diagnosed cow’s milk protein allergy.
  • Lactose intolerance.
  • Galactosaemia.
  • Glucose-galactose malabsorption.
  • Soy allergy, unless specifically assessed and recommended by a healthcare professional.

Important Information

Powdered infant formula is not sterile. Premature and low-birth-weight infants may be particularly vulnerable to infection, so all preparation, hygiene and storage instructions must be followed carefully.

Do not use this formula without an individual feeding plan from the baby’s healthcare professional.

Consult the healthcare professional promptly if the baby develops persistent vomiting, diarrhoea, constipation, abdominal swelling, poor feeding, unusual sleepiness, fever, reduced urination or inadequate weight gain.

Seek urgent medical attention if the baby develops breathing difficulty, facial or lip swelling, green or bloody vomit, blood in the stool, severe vomiting or signs of dehydration.

Do not use the product if the tin or internal seal is open, missing or damaged.

Check the batch number against any current manufacturer or regulatory safety notice before dispensing or use.

Use before the expiry date printed on the packaging and keep out of the reach of children.
