Description

S-26 AR Gold is a specialised anti-regurgitation infant formula developed for babies from birth to 12 months who experience mild-to-moderate regurgitation or frequent spitting up.

Its cow’s milk-based formula is pre-thickened with a carefully prepared blend of potato and corn starches. The thicker consistency helps feeds remain in the stomach and supports the dietary management of uncomplicated regurgitation when recommended by a paediatrician.

The pre-cooked starch blend is naturally gluten-free and designed to provide appropriate nutritional support while maintaining a consistency suitable for babies with regurgitation concerns.

S-26 AR Gold contains protein, essential vitamins and minerals, taurine, FOS and GOS prebiotics, and Bifidobacterium lactis. These nutrients help meet the baby’s nutritional requirements and support normal growth, bone development, digestive function and immune-system development.

This specialised formula must be used under medical supervision.

Important Feeding Notice

Breast milk is the best source of nutrition for babies, and breastfeeding should be continued for as long as possible.

S-26 AR Gold is a specialised formula for the dietary management of regurgitation. It should be introduced and used only under the supervision of a paediatrician or another qualified healthcare professional.

The healthcare professional should determine the appropriate amount, feeding frequency and duration of use according to the baby’s age, weight, growth and symptoms.

Regurgitation is different from forceful or persistent vomiting. Seek medical advice if the baby has projectile vomiting, green vomit, blood in the vomit or stool, breathing problems, poor feeding, fever, unusual sleepiness, dehydration or inadequate weight gain.

How to Prepare

Always follow the preparation and feeding table printed on the supplied tin. The exact number of scoops depends on the baby’s age and required feed volume.

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly and clean the preparation surface.
  2. Wash the feeding bottle, teat, cap and all preparation utensils until no milk residue remains.
  3. Rinse the equipment thoroughly and sterilise it according to the instructions on the pack. Where boiling is specified, boil it for five minutes.
  4. Keep the sterilised equipment covered until required.
  5. In a separate pan, bring fresh drinking water to a rolling boil for five minutes.
  6. Allow the water to cool to the temperature specified on the product packaging.
  7. Pour the exact amount of water shown in the feeding table into the sterilised bottle.
  8. Use only the scoop supplied inside the tin.
  9. Fill the scoop with powder and level it using the levelling edge inside the tin. Do not press or pack the powder.
  10. Add the exact number of level scoops shown in the feeding table.
  11. Close the bottle and shake thoroughly until the powder has completely dissolved.
  12. Check the temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding.

Because the prepared formula is thicker than standard infant formula, the baby may require a suitable teat. Consult the baby’s healthcare professional before changing the teat size or flow rate.

Never change the water-to-powder ratio or add extra starch, cereal, thickeners, water or powder unless specifically instructed by the baby’s doctor.

Feeding and Storage Instructions

Prepare each feed immediately before it is required whenever possible.

Use prepared formula within two hours of preparation and within one hour after feeding begins.

Discard any formula remaining in the bottle after feeding. Never refrigerate or reuse formula that has been in contact with the baby’s mouth.

A prepared bottle that has not been used may be refrigerated immediately only when permitted by the instructions printed on the supplied tin.

Do not heat prepared formula in a microwave, as uneven heating may create hot spots and cause burns.

Close the tin tightly after every use and store it in a cool, dry place.

Do not refrigerate the powder.

Use the contents within three weeks after opening or within the period stated on the supplied packaging if different.

Allergen Information

Contains cow’s milk and soy ingredients.

This formula is not suitable for babies with a diagnosed cow’s milk protein allergy, soy allergy or galactosaemia unless specifically recommended by a paediatrician.

Important Information

Powdered infant formula is not sterile. Follow all hygiene, preparation and storage instructions carefully.

Do not use this formula to manage vomiting or reflux symptoms without medical assessment.

Consult a healthcare professional if regurgitation does not improve, becomes more frequent or is accompanied by coughing, choking, feeding refusal, pain or poor weight gain.

Seek urgent medical care if the baby develops breathing difficulty, facial or lip swelling, severe vomiting, unusual drowsiness or another sign of a serious allergic reaction.

Check the batch number before use. Do not use any product included in an active manufacturer or regulatory recall.

Do not use the product if the tin or internal seal is open, missing or damaged.

Use before the expiry date printed on the packaging and keep out of the reach of children.
